Mission Viejo Friends of the Arts works to expand and support the arts in Mission Viejo. The Potocki Center for the Arts offers art, music and theater classes, open studio programs, events and exhibitions for all ages.

Mission Viejo is seeking community input regarding our annual Arts Alive Festival. Help us plan the 2020 festival through this quick survey. This coming April we are taking a hiatus to plan and bring back Arts Alive better than ever next year. Keep checking our calendar for more arts programs throughout the year!
February - April Exhibit:
Marillyn Brame "Visual Arts" Student Exhibit.
This exhibit features local art students of Artist Marillyn Brame -
Marillyn Brame, Ph.D., is Director of Visual Arts Art School and Designer of Visual Arts Murals. She currently teaches classes for children and adults in all media, from beginning drawing to advanced painting techniques. Her background includes commercial art, advertising design, industrial art, theatrical design and engineering design and publication. She holds an advanced degree as a Dr. of Hypnotherapy, and maintains a clinical hypnotherapy practice in Mission Viejo.
Dr. Brame owned The Arts Art School and Gallery in Winter Park, Florida, Design Graphics, a graphic design and advertising studio, in Torrance, California, and Camart Design Advertising Agency in Westminster, California. She is a Past President and Director of Community Relations for Orange County Fine Arts, a member of the Board of Directors of the Center for a Brand New Day in Garden Grove, the City of Mission Viejo Cultural Arts Committee, the Mission Viejo Activities Committee, and the Arts Committee of Orange County Mental Health Board. She designed a sixty foot long curving mosaic tile wall on the Oso Creek Trail for the City of Mission Viejo, as well as eight of the ten columns in the Centennial Garden, the final Tierra Nativa Project of the Oso Creek Trail. Her paintings are in collections from Florida to California and the City of Mission Viejo owns one, a view of the Oso Creek Trail, which is a part of the Mission Viejo Library’s permanent art collection.
